Well done to the year 8 girls for returning undefeated from the hockey tournament in Coleraine today. In four exciting games they scored 16 goals and conceded none.

The A2 PE Class ran the Zumbathon event for Year 8 in aid of Angel Wishes Charity, raising over £500. Over 90 Year 8s took part in what was a colourful and fun hour of dancing.

Last night our annual Carol Service took place. With music from our Traditional Group, String Orchestra, Ukulele Orchestra, Concert Band and junior and senior choirs.
Today we wished Mrs Martha Lamrock a fond farewell and best wishes on her retirement. She joined LGS in September 2003 after spells at Cumber Claudy and Dungiven High. This year we were happy to be able to support Operation Christmas Child by donating 120 shoe boxes filled with gifts for the children of Belarus.
For over 30 years the staff and pupils of Limavady Grammar School have worked together to provide Christmas hampers for those families in our local community facing difficult circumstances at Christmas. This year we have donated these to the Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul Family Appeal where we know that they are gratefully received.
