UKMT Junior Maths Challenge

Pupils at Limavady Grammar School achieved 13 bronzes and 12 silvers in this year’s UKMT Junior Maths Challenge. Over 260,000 pupils from across the UK sat the challenge with approximately the top 6% receiving a gold certificate, the next 13% silver and the next 21%, bronze. Well done to all and especially to Laura who was best in school!  

Year 11 Fun Day

Democracy in Action!  LGS were pleased to welcome today the Northern Ireland Assembly’s Education Service to tell Year 9 all about how our government works.  Some pupils were happy to put visiting local politicians, John Dallat and Claire Sugden, on the spot with some tough questioning.

Year 10 Safety Awareness Day

Year 10 pupils took part in a Safety Awareness Day in school as part of their ongoing pastoral programme. The day consisted of team building activities; a First Aid session; and a Safety Awareness Workshop.  A great day was had by all!
