Noteworthy Achievements

  • The Religious Studies department has been placed in the top 25% of the UK for their A level results for the last 4 years.

I enjoy studying RE at GCSE because it introduces me to lots of different beliefs and themes in the world around us. It gives you the chance to express your own opinion on many different topics, including both biblical and ethical views. My favourite thing about RE is learning about the ethical issues today and discussing these with my class, giving me an insight to other people's opinions and feeling comfortable enough to share my own.

A Level RE has given me a much greater understanding of the complex and diverse world that we live in. We tackle many of the controversial and unanswered questions that exist in modern-day society. This allows us to freely express our own views, whilst also learning to respect the views of others. I have loved every second of RE at A Level and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good debate!
