For over 30 years the staff and pupils of Limavady Grammar School have worked together to provide Christmas hampers for those families in our local community facing difficult circumstances at Christmas. This year we have donated these to the Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul Family Appeal where we know that they are gratefully received.

The Parents’ Association would like to thank everyone who supported our annual Craft Fair on November 23rd. We are delighted to report that we raised £1300 which will be used in the school to benefit all LGS students.

Mr Stanley Cromie and Mr Wilfie Harrison, representatives from Operation Christmas Child visited Limavady Grammar School earlier this week to collect the 112 shoe boxes kindly donated by the pupils and staff for the annual Christmas appeal.

Congratulations to Quinn Barnett (Year 14) who has been judged top candidate in CCEA Moving Image Arts. Many congratulations to Naomi McCracken and Amber Saggu who represented Limavady Grammar School at the Roe Valley Rotary Young Leadership Competition. The Solomon Theatre Company visited on Monday to present their ‘Last Orders’ theatre show and workshop to Year 10 pupils. The production is a KS3 Alcohol Education programme that has been developed by a team of Doctors, Police, NSPCC professionals and teachers, which looks at the consequences of binge drinking.
