The Parents’ Association would like to thank everyone who supported our annual Craft Fair on November 23rd. We are delighted to report that we raised £1300 which will be used in the school to benefit all LGS students.

Mr Stanley Cromie and Mr Wilfie Harrison, representatives from Operation Christmas Child visited Limavady Grammar School earlier this week to collect the 112 shoe boxes kindly donated by the pupils and staff for the annual Christmas appeal.

Congratulations to Quinn Barnett (Year 14) who has been judged top candidate in CCEA Moving Image Arts. The Solomon Theatre Company visited on Monday to present their ‘Last Orders’ theatre show and workshop to Year 10 pupils. The production is a KS3 Alcohol Education programme that has been developed by a team of Doctors, Police, NSPCC professionals and teachers, which looks at the consequences of binge drinking. Yr8 had a presentation from Mrs Cromie in assembly yesterday to launch the Christmas appeal. Please bring in your boxes in by Friday 17th Nov to your form teacher (Yr8) or Mrs Cromie (all other year groups) All year groups are welcome to contribute!

Pupils from year 13 attended the annual Young Enterprise Company Workshop in the NWRC. They looked at areas such as Idea Generation, Digital Marketing and Teamwork.

Year 14 pupils took part in interview skills workshop in preparation for their mock interview.
