Semi-final victory LGS 3-1 Loreto College The U15 Football team secured a place in the Final of the Irish Society Shield today with an impressive win against a strong Loreto side in very difficult conditions. LGS was very proud and pleased to host the local heat of the McCloy Cup today – a Primary School hockey tournament for girls. The girls all had a great time, despite the cold weather!
The 1st XVl travelled to Belfast High for the School’s Cup Second Round. Limavady Grammar emerged as 20-16 winners. The game started off at a frantic pace with both teams determined to play in a positive manner. Pupils in Years 8-12 took part in the LGS Colour Run which was organised as a charity fundraiser by the A Level PE students as part of their course. A crazy colourful afternoon for all those involved. Well done to the A level PE class and all the staff who worked so hard to make it run so smoothly!
