The School canteen plays a central part in school life. Open from  8.00am daily for breakfast, the  canteen  staff serve tasty breakfasts before school, refreshing snacks and drinks at break time and a wide choice of hot and cold  dishes at lunchtime. A snack bar also operates during lunchtime. All food and drink served conforms to the National School Food Policy guidelines.

Pupils in Years 8 to 10 have preference in the canteen on Mondays and Wednesdays whilst senior pupils are served first on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The canteen is a money-free area; pupils open an account and this is debited by the use of a digital image system. There are two cash points in the school where pupils Can add money to their account on a daily or weekly basis
