In order to ensure that the school offers its pupils
more than an academic experience, we offer a wide range of extra-curricular
activities. We believe that such activities broaden the experience of
pupils and offer opportunities to develop interests which may be lifelong.
Aside from sporting activities, the range of extra-curricular
activities is as extensive as possible within limits of staff/pupil interest.
Groups meet during lunch-time or after school where
a longer period is needed and pupils are available. Members of teaching
staff organise and oversee activities according to their areas of interest
and in a reasonable staff-pupil ratio.
The list below shows the extensive range of activities
on offer at Limavady Grammar School. Many pupils go on to achieve inter-provincial
and international honours in their sports.
