Games

CSE level contains two major components - a practical element and a theoretical element.  The practical aspect of the course requires the candidate to study four activities and therefore is suitable for those who participate in sporting activities and who would regard themselves as competent in sport.  The practical aspect also requires the student to assess their personal performance and the performance of others.

The aspect of the course covering theory could be sub-divided under three headings:

Fitness,  drugs,  social and  cultural influences,  growth and development.

Provision of Sport

Sports Council, education, sport as a spectacle.

50% of marks awarded for performance in practical activities, 10% for evaluation and improvement of performance and 40% two examination papers.
